Contraindications for bariatric surgery include:
1) active cancer treatment
2) severe heart failure
3) severe lung disease
4) unstable coronary artery disease
5) alcohol/drug dependency
6) untreated schizophrenia
7) impaired intellectual capacity
8) all issues that are contraindication to general anaesthesia

Ir order to assess the person’s health we ask to provide information on the previous medical history and current health condition. Additional information is obtained by performing health examinations – gastroscopy, urine & blood tests, Electrocardiogram and Chest Xray.
