PROTEIN AFTER WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY 🥚🍗🥩🍕🥛

Why protein is so important❓
Every cell, every muscle and other tissue in our body is made up of protein which brakes down. The cells need to be repaired constantly, for that reason we need to intake protein from outside sources. Protein is also necessary for production of enzymes and hormones in our bodies. Proteins are not stored for later use, so excess proteins are converted into glucose or triglycerides, and used to supply energy or build energy reserves.
Proteins help –
✅to build and maintain muscle mass,
✅our body to heal from the surgery and wound itself,
✅to make our skin, nails, hair healthier,
✅our immune system to function better,
✅to fill us up for longer periods of time, so we feel less hungry between meals. It helps us loose and maintain our weight healthy.
